Volunteer news announcer for radio station KPFK, FM, PACIFICA RADIO: For a period of approximately 2 years, I both edited Reuters, UPS, and L.A. Times copy and then announced it over the air with my co-announcer, Sanford Fidel, Ph.D. During that period, KPFK received an award from the Southern California Broadcasters Association for having the best evening radio news program in Southern California.
